This one-day course will introduce you to the art of felt making. We will be using different kinds of fleece, some of it from local sheep. Information will be available on how to treat a raw fleece and ways of dyeing it.	This one day course will allow you to take your feltmaking further. Different kinds of fleece will be available for use, much of it from local sheep. Information will also be available on how to treat a raw fleece and ways of dyeing it.	A magical process which involves immersing the fabric in a sludgy yellow dye, and watching it turn a beautiful blue before your eyes as it is taken out and meets the air.

Workshops take place in the Studio at The Slade Centre. Tea and coffee is included and there are plenty of options for lunch nearby, or bring a packed lunch.
