Life Drawing Class

Monday evenings from February 4th  7pm at The Slade Centre, Gillingham

Life drawing classes that will introduce you to a variety of approaches, methods and techniques. Starting with the basics of measuring, contour drawing, gesture and lay-in all the way through to anatomy, tone and rendering you'll be introduced to all of the skills required to make a successful figure drawing. All levels of ability are welcome and tuition will be complemented by demonstrations if required. If it's simply access to professional models, dynamic set-ups all within a creative and spacious environment we have all you'll need.  Cost:  £80  for 10 weeks or pro rata.

Just a confirmation email letting you all know that the next term is due to start on February 4th 2008.

We have a couple of places remaining if you know of anyone else who would like to participate.

In order to secure your place could you please forward payment in full(£80) at least one week
prior to the start date.

Also if you would like to purchase a Newsprint pad please could you let me know in advance so I can place an order with the supplier in the states. The pads are £15 for 100 sheets, 18x24"

We have a few new members joining us which is very exciting and as always some great models booked for the term. If you would like tuition on the evening or perhaps a few informal crits could you
please let me know.

A: Generally not, though a number of easels and drawing boards are available, first-come first-served.
Materials available for sale at trade prices (up 35% off of the rrp) including paper, charcoal and pencils, easels, drawing boards, and a variety of other drawing accessories should you need them.
